Dr. Priyankana Mukherjee is Assistant Vice President and Head of BioNEST at IKP Knowledge Park, Bangalore. She leads the IKP Global Regulatory Forum (IGRF) to support startups with regulatory requirements.
She also leads the Grand Challenges Exploration–India grants management team, a funding programme supporting social innovations, and serves as a reviewer for many startup funding schemes.
Before joining IKP, she worked at the National Centre for Biological Sciences as a Development Officer. She was involved in identifying fundraising priorities, building sustainable relationships with philanthropists, and supporting external communications.
She received her PhD in Developmental Cell Biology from NCBS under the mentorship of Prof. K. VijayRaghavan, former Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. Priyankana is immensely passionate about contributing to India’s growing culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.
